Amfedrine Overview
The makers of Amfedrine claim that it is the strongest diet pill on the market and have a fairly impressive but somewhat confusing website.
There is a good amount of information about the product on the website, although it contains no customer testimonials and a short FAQ section. The news outlets shown on the site (BBC, MSNBC and 60 minutes) all include links to articles about the benefits of Hoodia Gordonii (the main ingredient in Amfedrine) although none are actual endorsements of the Amfedrine product. Another section lists all the various clinical studies that have been performed on the four major Amfedrine ingredients, all of which showed positive results. It does not appear however that any trials were done for Amfedrine as a whole.
One of the more useful sections on the Amfedrine site is titled ‘Healthy Living’ and contains information about different aspects of weight loss including nutrition (complete with sample recipes), exercise, weight management and tips for success. Although the company does not state that their product requires to be used in conjunction with diet and exercise, it is obviously strongly encouraged.
Amfedrine – Product Description
Unfortunately no product label or full list of ingredients is supplied for Amfedrine. The four main, active weight loss ingredients combine a proven appetite suppressant, Hoodia Gordonii, a metabolism and fat-burning supplement, chromium polynicotinate, and two substances used for increasing energy and fat oxidization, caffeine and green tea extract (also a powerful anti-oxidant). Exactly how effective these ingredients would be is not clear, given the fact that the amounts are not shown, and no indication of how long the product should be taken for or the dosage amount is given.
Each ingredient is given a detailed explanation and is accompanied by an illustration to show how it works in the body.

Amfedrine – The Bottomline
It is good to see a product marketed in such a way that it also encourages healthy lifestyles, nutrition and exercise, rather than simply promising miraculous weight loss results. By following some of the advice given on the Amfedrine site it would be possible to make positive changes in one’s lifestyle which should help lose weight with or without the product. Given the type of ingredients in Amfedrine, the product is likely to increase energy, although not knowing the amount of caffeine included is worrisome, particularly as green tea is also a caffeinated product.
The customer is invited to take part in the Amfedrine Weight Loss Challenge whereby they can win a refund of their initial 3-month purchase, which, at a cost of $89.85, is significantly less than similar weight loss products.
