‘Developed World Man Has Stopped Evolving’

According to a British genetics expert, the developed world man has now stopped evolving. Now, the men no more evolve like in the ancient era. This is because modern men do not have to struggle any more fro their survival.

Considering this argument hope of the further evolution of man has been left with the world that is developing.

Genetic mutation and natural selection were the two important factors that played a very important role in the evolution of man. But this has change now these two no longer cause evolution in man, according to, Steve Jones who is the department head of genetics evolution and environment at the University College London.

It is said that even after millions of years the man at that time will love similar to the modern man.

If we consider the natural selection, the death rate of the children born before the modern age was much more than today. That period was the time where a child has to struggle for the survival and only those survived who were strong enough.

Today the things have changed. There is plenty of food and other thing that can help a child survive and fight for its life. Today’s baby has much more chances of living healthy than the child which was born few decades ago. This contradicts both the factors of evolution natural selection and genetic mutation.
