Dymetadrine

Dymetadrine: At a Glance

Dymetadrine Extreme is a product for body building that is geared towards body builders. Is is manufactured by AST, a company that makes a variety of diet and nutritional supplements. Their website is very detailed, and contains not only information about their products, but training suggestions, body building articles, and a Q and A section. The most impressive thing is the emphasis placed on the fact that the product is free of Ephedra. At one time, the product contained dangerous ingredients, which were eventually banned because they caused severe health problems, like high blood pressure and strokes. Dymetradine uses a process called “nutrition-partitioning” and it is meant to increase energy, concentration, and metabolism. According to them, this is where the nutrients ingested in the body are used in the lean tissue, as opposed to the fatty tissue. Unfortunately, the company does not have any clinical trial data that supports this, and they do not have study data on any of the ingredients in the product either.

Dymetadrine: Facts

Dymetadrine is a basic blend of herbs and vitamins. Ingredients include green tea, L-henylanlanine, L-Tyrosine, caffeine, Norsynephrine HCL, Theobromine, and Yohimbine HCL. As everyone knows, green tea extract is effective as an antioxidant, and, because of the presence of caffeine, will boost the metabolism to burn more fat faster. The rest of the ingredients appear to enhance the mood more than anything, specifically the Theobromine, which is a substance found in chocolate that can cause feelings of euphoria. Magnesium is found in Dymetadrine and effectively maintains muscle movement, while Vitamins C and B6 work with the immune system. According to independent websites, Dymetadrine has a very high level of caffeine and extensively high levels of B6, which can contribute to nerve damage. Some reviews voiced concerns with the ingredients having the same effects as Ephedra, which is detrimental to the health and well-being of the user. AST claims that 2 capsules of Dymetadrine can be taken thirty minutes before exercising to increase energy, or before mealtime to boost fat burning.

Dymetadrine: Positive Attributes

  • The company’s website is user-friendly, and has an informative FAQ section.
  • Body builders will find tips and articles that they will find interesting on this website.
  • The label from the product is shown.
  • The product is now made without Ephedra.
  • Heightened moods and greater energy has been reported due to using the product.

Dymetadrine: Drawbacks

  • The company does not list amounts of the ingredients used in their proprietary blend.
  • They do not show how the individual ingredients work.
  • No free trial is offered.
  • This is an expensive product, costing $30.00 per 100 capsules, although prices may vary with each retailer.
  • The average dieter would not benefit from use of the product.
  • In addition to caffeine, this product has potentially dangerous levels of B6.

Dymetadrine: Conclusions

Dymetradine is fairly expensive, and it is similar to other products on the market. Besides enhancing energy and positive mood, there is no proof that this product is superior to any other weight loss product available on the market. The company seems to be very discrete about the product, and has not published the amounts of ingredients included in the proprietary blend for fear that the competition may duplicate it. AST does seem honest, but any potential customers may want to investigate some of the other products they offer before choosing Deymetadrine.
