Lipovarin - Does Lipovarin Work?
Lipovarin Overview
Lipovarin is a thermogenic weight-loss formula developed by Sterling Grant Laboratories. “Thermogenic” means metabolism boosting, and Lipovarin promises to augment diet and exercise programs by just such means. The website maintains that this product has appeared in national magazines such as Shape and Star; however, these appearances probably refer to paid advertisements. Such advertisements do suggest that Sterling Grant Laboratories is in good shape financially. Although there is not much information available about this parent company, they produce many products that tackle a wide range of health issues such as sleeplessness and thyroid imbalance. They seem to be focused on weight loss products such as Lipovarin and Aquadrene, a diuretic. There have been some complaints that the Lipovarin website does not provide a complete list of ingredients and dosages, but Sterling Grant Laboratories seems to have answered this complaint. A complete view of the label (with dosages) is now readily available.
Lipovarin – Product Description
Lipovarin is a thermogenic; therefore is relies on metabolism-boosting ingredients such as Advantra Z and green tea. Advantra Z is one of the ephedra replacements currently in circulation. (Ephedra was banned by the FDA because of health risks in 2004, a ban that was overturned and then upheld in 2006.) Advantra-Z is derived from bitter orange. Bitter orange contains synephrine, which can both stimulate metabolism and suppress hunger. The potential of green tea has been examined on CNN and FoxNews as well as in USA Today and Reader’s Digest. Green tea has been used medicinally for thousands of years, which partly explains why dieters are so quick to put their faith in it. While perhaps not the miracle ingredient some companies claim, green tea is a natural, safe stimulant.Lipovarin contains many more ingredients: theobroma coca, theobromine, amines, tea polyphenols, tea catechins, serotain, hydroxtryptophan, caffeine, rhodiola rosea, taurine, l-carnitine, 7-keto, and coleus forskohlii. Theobroma coca and theobromine are mild stimulants that also act as diuretics. The additional tea ingredients are also stimulants. The most potent stimulant, however, is the most familiar: caffeine. Caffeine may cause side effects such as jitteriness and sleeplessness. In fact, all of these stimulants have the potential to produce unwanted side effects. Coleus forskohlii is a natural compound derived from an Indian plant. It increases the amount of cyclic AMP, which in turn decreases fat and promotes a variety of positive physiological and biochemical effects. Some of these effects include increased insulin secretion, increased thyroid function, and relaxed smooth muscles.

Lipovarin – The Bottom Line
Lipovarin has received at least one negative review, but the makers of Lipovarin responded by answering some of the complaints. Most notably, a full list of ingredients with dosages is now available on the website. Because Lipovarin is a thermogenic, it relies on stimulants to increase metabolism. To this aim, it includes many stimulants such as caffeine (as well as various sources of caffeine), Advantra Z, and theobromine. Customers may experience unwanted side effects from such an onslaught of stimulants. These side effects may include jitteriness and sleeplessness. On the other hand, if a customer can withstand these ingredients, this product may very well increase metabolism and make dieting easier.
