Phenocerin Overview

Anyone who has viewed a number of diet pill websites will notice that the website for Phenocerin looks very similar to many others on the internet. In fact it is almost identical to that of Certiphene’s, including the same graphics and phrases.Phenocerin uses some equally familiar marketing tactics to promote the product, such as featuring a photo of a ‘doctor’, news program logos and health and fitness magazine covers. There is no evidence that Phenocerin has actually been endorsed by any of these, but obviously this is the idea it wants to convey. There are a number of testimonials on the official website which use before and after pictures. However, further down the page, the small print states that paid models were used for this purpose. Naturally the testimonials are all favourable, with the customers losing an average of 10 lbs per month (which is why the company claims Phenocerin will guarantee a ’30lbs in 30 days’ weight loss). This amount isn’t actually too exaggerated considering the ‘safe’ amount recommended by professionals is about 2lbs per week.

Phenocerin – Product Description

Phenocerin

Phenocerin contains ingredients that are made to suppress the appetite, rev the metabolism and increase energy. Hoodia Gordonii is an appetite suppressant that many consumers will be familiar with as it has been featured in the news recently (hence the ‘justification’ for the aforementioned news program logos). Similarly, Chromium Picolante is another substance that has gained in popularity for its beneficial effects on insulin regulation and weight loss. The company website does cite independent clinical trials done on both these ingredients and, although the results were positive, it means nothing in terms of Phenocerin’s effectiveness as a product in its own right. Other ingredients listed on the product label are Kola Nut and Guarana, both which have stimulant effects, Almond Nut, a good source of monosaturated oil, Ginseng and Grapefruit. The consumer should be aware that, although the company recommends a daily dosage of 1 capsule in the morning and one in the evening, this may not be a good idea due to the caffeine content of the Kola Nut.

Phenocerin Advantage

  • Phenocerin contains Hoodia Gordonii and Chromium Picolante, two proven weight loss ingredients.
  • The product website is simple and easy to use.

Phenocerin – Drawbacks

  • Phenocerin is almost identical to a number of other weight-loss pills and may in fact be manufactured by the same company.
  • The studies mentioned were not actually performed on Phenocerin and used amounts that differed from those contained in Phenocerin.
  • The company uses paid models to promote the product.
  • The website gives the false impression of endorsements by certain respected news sources.
  • The capsule contains too many stimulants to be taken in the evening, despite the guidelines.
  • The company allows 14 days after ordering to try the product before billing begins. When allowing for processing and shipping time this really is not adequate time to make a proper decision about the effectiveness of the product.

Phenocerin – The Bottom Line

Phenocerin does not seem like a good choice to make when considering weight loss products. Although the ingredients may have some effect, they will not have the miraculous results as claimed on the company website. There is very little information elsewhere on the internet to be able to recommend this product although there are some complaints regarding the customer service department. In conclusion, the consumer would be better advised to spend their money on a more reputable product.
