However, self control is a key factor in maintaining your weight. Awareness is also very important. Don’t just eat anything you please because you want or have a craving for it. This doesn’t mean having a full meal every two or three hours. Rather, in between breakfast, lunch, and dinner you can have snacks. These snacks can be yogurt, pudding, or another healthy treat. You can also have a serving of fruit topped with whipped cream.

While eating on your weight control diet, remember to eat slowly. This will help your body to be able to digest what you eat. Also, eating more frequently will stop you from being hungry, in addition to drinking water. Try having low calorie foods, such as frozen meals as a substitute for lunch. You can also consider protein shakes and protein bars. And for a frozen treat, a healthy alternative to ice cream can be frozen yogurt. Frozen yogurt has considerably less calories and fat than ice cream. Remember that when maintaining your diet, there is no substitute for drinking plenty of water, and exercising regularly.
