Xerisan ASA - Does Xerisan ASA Work?
Xerisan ASA Overview
Xerisan ASA is a relatively new diet pill on the market, having been released in the U.S. in 2006.It is not known exactly who the manufacturers of the product are as the contact information is a generic ordering company in Savannah. The company does have a comprehensive website although the way it is written (bad grammar, strange phrasing etc.) does take away it’s credibility some what. The makers of Xerisan ASA claim it is the best fat burner on the market, and it has had very mixed reviews from independent sources. There is no doubt the ingredients the pills contain would have some beneficial effects, but one would certainly have to follow the low fat, low calorie diet as recommended, as well as partake in regular exercise. The website contains a lot of unnecessary data that makes it seem a lot more informative than it really is. For example, there are links to ‘resources’ which are basically just diet and health websites such as the Mayo Clinic and the National Institute for Diabetes. There is no direct endorsement of Xerisan by either of these companies. The website features a testimonial section and a link to a ‘free gift’ which is basically a health report from a ‘very popular and trusted weight loss information website’.
Xerisan ASA – Product Description
Xerisan ASA contains only four active ingredients; Synephrine, Phaseolus Vulgaris, Chromium Picolinate and Calcium Pyvrovate. All of these do have a good effect on the body, though they are not quite as impressive as their names might suggest. For example, the Phaseolus Vulagaris is simply another term for the white northern kidney bean, which has the ability to prevent starch from being converted to glucose. Chromium is a widely used trace mineral which helps regulate the blood sugar level and has an effect on fat burning. Calcium Pyvrovate actually occurs naturally in food such as red apples, as well as dark beer and red wine, and is known as a good appetite suppressant. It is the inclusion of Synephrine which may be of some concern to consumers. Similar to caffeine and Ephedrine, Synephrine is a stimulant which apart from boosting energy and caloric expenditure, may also exaggerate hypertension in some individuals. Generally though, it is not thought to be as dangerous as Ephedrine in terms of side effects. The company gives no clear directions as to how Xerisan ASA should be taken but gleaned from other information on the internet, it seems that the optimum level is 2 pills twice a day, preferably 30 minutes before meals.
Xerisan ASA Advantage
- The ingredients are simple and all have some beneficial effects on helping achieve weight loss.
- The company offers a 30-day money back guarantee.
- The company website links to information that although is not directly associated with Xerisan, will still be of interest.
Xerisan ASA Drawbacks
- The shabby writing style of the website does not look professional and might be off-putting to consumers.
- The product is only available from the company directly, therefore is not subject to FTC scrutiny.
- The product is expensive, costing $67.95 for one bottle (how many servings per bottle is not known).
- Some reviews are not at all favorable, calling the product and the company a ‘scam’.
Xerisan ASA- The Bottom Line
Xerisan ASA is a very expensive product, particularly when the individual ingredients can be bought at a much reduced cost elsewhere. The testimonials on the website are so generic that the consumer would be much better off doing their own research on the product before deciding to buy and reading independent reviews.
